According to the police, due to financial constraints, Rohit could not pay the credit card bills and received several calls from bank executives demanding to pay bills
Hyderabad: A man who was allegedly depressed over being pressurised by agents to pay pending credit card bills has been reported missing in SR Nagar. Police suspect he left the house on his own.
The man, S Rohit Kumar (26), from Indira Nagar in Borabanda, who earlier worked as a manager for a transport company had lost his job during the recent lockdown and ended up with mounting debts.
According to the police, due to financial constraints, he could not pay the credit card bills and received several calls from bank executives demanding to pay bills. Depressed over this, Rohit left the house on Wednesday without informing anyone. Unable to find him, his family approached the police and lodged a complaint on Thursday. A case was booked and is being investigated.
