Hyderabad: Youth dies by suicide in Neredmet after marriage proposal rejected
A 23-year-old youth allegedly died by suicide in Old Safilguda under Neredmet police limits after the family of a woman he loved refused their marriage proposal. Police recovered a suicide note from the room and have begun an investigation.
Hyderabad: Upset over a failed love affair, a 23-year-old youth died by suicide in Old Safilguda in Neredmet police limits on Friday.
According to police, the youth, identified as Naresh, was upset after the mother of the woman he loved refused their marriage proposal. Unable to cope with the rejection, he allegedly took the extreme step.
The incident occurred while Naresh was alone in his room, as his friend had left for his native place for the Ugadi festival. He was later found hanging by his roommate when the latter had returned on Friday night.
The Neredmet Police recovered a suicide note from the scene purportedly written by Naresh explaining the reason for his suicide.
Case is under investigation.
