Hyderabad: Youth killed, two injured as car crashes into pole in Balanagar
A 19-year-old youth, Mohd Mustaq, died and two others were injured when their car crashed into an electric pole in Balanagar on Sunday. Rash driving is suspected. Police are probing if drunken driving caused the accident
Hyderabad: A youth was killed and two others were injured after the car they were travelling in went out of control and crashed into an electric pole in Balanagar on Sunday.
Rash and negligent driving is suspected to be the reason for the accident.
As per available information, the victim, identified as Mohd Mustaq (19), along with his friends, was travelling in the car towards Kukatpally when the mishap occurred.
On reaching Balanagar, Mustaq, who was reportedly behind the wheel, lost control of the vehicle and crashed into the electric pole. He suffered grievous bleeding injuries and died on the spot, while the others were injured.
The Balanagar police are investigating if drunken driving led to the mishap.
