Hyderabad: A youngster, who was on the way to the examination centre, died on the spot after the sports bike he was riding went out of control and crashed into a roadside tree at Keesara on Thursday afternoon.

The victim, identified as Praveen Kumar (20), a student from a private college in Bogaram was on his way to the examination centre to appear for supplementary exams on his Yamaha R15 bike. When he reached near VRR Venture on the Shamirpet road in Keesara, he lost the control over the bike and hit a tree on the roadside.

“He suffered grievous bleeding injuries on his head and died on the spot,” police said, adding that based on a complaint from his mother, the Keesara police booked a case and are investigating.
