Hyderabad: The Nehru Zoological Park zebra’s enclosure will become livelier, with two more of these exotic animals set to join the existing ones on the display.
The Hyderabad Zoo will shortly get a pair of zebras from Vantara, a global wildlife rescue and conservation centre in Jamnagar. Currently, the zoo is home to three zebras – two male and one female – that have also been brought from the Vantara. These exotic animals returned to the zoo after a gap of 37 years.
In addition, the zoo is also planning to add a pair of Wallabies, kangaroo-like animals, which stand around three feet tall compared to kangaroos that can reach heights up to eight feet.
