Hyderabad’s Sai Dedeepya wins silver at All India Railway tennis

Hyderabad’s Y Sai Dedeepya won silver in women’s singles at the 71st All India Railway Tennis Championship in Chennai, while Ram Kumar Prasad of South Eastern Railway bagged silver in veterans’ singles, highlighting strong performances from SER players

Hyderabad: Hyderabad girl Y Sai Dedeepya, representing South Eastern Railway (SER), Kolkata, won a silver medal in the women’s singles of the 71st All India Railway Tennis Championship organised by Integral Coach Factory Sports Association (ICFSA), Chennai, and Railway Sports Promotion Board at Chennai.

In the final, Dedeepya lost to Sai Samhita of ICF, Southern Railway, Chennai, 3-8, after defeating Arthi Muniyan of ICF with a score of 8-5.


In the veterans’ singles, Ram Kumar Prasad of SER bagged a silver medal.
