Hyderabad: Hyderabad’s Sneha Singh is all set play in her maiden international tournament when she participates in the Women’s Amateur Golf championship that begins from Wednesday at Abu Dhabi Golf Cup.
The young golfer, who is a student of St Ann’s College, will represent the Indian team with Avani Anika, Sifat and Nishna. Sneha had reached Abu Dhabi on October 29 as she had to observe the mandatory ten days quarantine period.
The field includes 78 players from 13 Asia-Pacific countries. The Indian team was selected based on their Indian and World Amateur Golf Rankings for representing the country.
Sneha is currently ranked No 1 in India and 153rd on World Amateur rankings.
