Hyderabad’s top cop Sajjanar highlights role of Armed Reserve in law and order
Hyderabad City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar emphasised the crucial role of the Armed Reserve wing in maintaining law and order during a ceremonial parade at the AR Headquarters in Petlaburj. Hyderabad: City Police Commissioner VC Sajjanar, emphasised the vital role of the Armed Reserve (AR) wing in maintaining law and order, urging personnel to uphold discipline and professionalism in their duties.
Participating in a Ceremonial Parade held at the City Armed Reserve Headquarters in Petlaburj here on Saturday, the Commissioner received the guard of honour from AR personnel and appreciated their commitment and service.
A total of 1,044 AR personnel, including members of the City Security Guard, Swift Women Action Team, Quick Reaction Team, and City Rapid Action Force, took part in the parade.
Highlighting the long-standing legacy and reputation of the City Armed Reserve, Sajjanar advised personnel to prioritize their families, focus on health, and maintain fitness through daily exercise.
He also encouraged them to avoid bad habits, make productive use of time, and continuously upgrade their skills to adapt to emerging policing trends.
Later, the city police chief interacted with the staff to understand operational challenges and assured prompt action to address their concerns.
He also inspected facilities such as the crèche, arms store, workshop, and barracks, and conducted a review meeting with officers to discuss ways to enhance efficiency and public service.
