HYDRAA commissioner AV Ranganath reviews Patny nala widening works

Ranganath visited Prakashnagar Nala and directed the GHMC officials to make efforts to prevent the areas in Prakash Nagar and near the Metro Station from being inundated.

Hyderabad: HYDRAA Commissioner AV Ranganath and Secunderabad Cantonment Board (SCB) Chief Executive Officer, D Madhukar Naik, on Saturday visited Patny Nala and reviewed the restoration of the widening works. The nala will be widened up to 20 meters and efforts will be made to remove the silt.

Later, Ranganath visited Prakashnagar Nala and directed the GHMC officials to make efforts to prevent the areas in Prakash Nagar and near the Metro Station from being inundated. The civic body officials explained that stone slabs were removed from the nala near the Metro Station and the IOC petrol outlet near Chikoti Garden in Prakash Nagar. The officials were asked to have box drain structures ready to set up and prevent inundation.
