Hydraa forms 130 teams to tackle monsoon-related issues
The special teams will tackle traffic jams during heavy rain and also prevent flood water stagnation at flood-affected areas

Hyderabad: Following instructions from Municipal Administration & Urban Development Department, the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (Hydraa) has initiated measures to tackle ongoing monsoon-related issues.
As part of the exercise, the Hydraa formed 130 monsoon response teams (MRTs), and 51 Disaster Response Force (DRF) teams will coordinate with these MRTs to resolve the issues.
“These special Hydraa teams will deploy and tackle traffic jams during heavy rains and also prevent flood water stagnation at flood-affected areas,” an official release said.
The Hydraa will also assist in desilting works and work with the GHMC teams, added the release.
