Hydraa rescues man attempting suicide in Dundigal lake

Hyderabad: The Disaster Response Force (DRF) team of the Hyderabad Disaster Response and Asset Protection Agency (Hydraa) on Saturday rescued a man who allegedly attempted suicide by jumping into Dundigal lake in Medchal-Malkajgiri district.
The Hydraa DRF team, which was deployed for Ganesh idol immersion duty at the lake, quickly responded and saved the man after he jumped into the waters.
The man, identified as Mohammad Rahim (35), told officials he tried to end his life due to family disputes. He is married and has a daughter. After being safely rescued, the Hydraa team handed him over to the police in the presence of his family, according to an official release.
