Ibrahimpatnam inspector attached to Commissioner’s office over negligence in constable’s murder case
Rachakonda Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu had ordered attaching Ibrahimpatnam inspector B Satyanarayana to Police Commissioner’s Office for alleged negligence in performing his legitimate duties in the murder case of Nagamani, a woman police constable.
Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police Commissioner G Sudheer Babu had ordered attaching Ibrahimpatnam inspector B Satyanarayana to Police Commissioner’s Office for alleged negligence in performing his legitimate duties in the murder case of Nagamani, a woman police constable.
It is learnt that action was taken for his delay in arresting Shiva, the second suspect in the murder case. Nagamani’s brother Paramesh was earlier arrested. However, Shiva, who was also involved, was absconding since the murder on December 2.
The commissioner also ordered an enquiry into the matter. He directed senior officials to submit a report and based on the report, further action will be contemplated.
