Hyderabad: The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education recently hosted the regional choose France tour at its campus here, bringing students, faculty members, and international academic partners together to explore higher education opportunities in France.
The event was organised in collaboration with Campus France and the French Institute in India, the higher education arm of the Embassy of France in India, as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen academic exchange and international cooperation.
The event brought together representatives from 23 leading French higher education institutions, offering students and faculty a comprehensive overview of higher education and research opportunities in France.
Senior academic leadership from ICFAI, including Prof T. Koti Reddy, Vice Chancellor (In-Charge), and international representatives including Antoine Guillemet, Scientific and Academic Attaché at the French Embassy in Bengaluru, and Eloïse Ondet, National Coordinator, Campus France India, as well as representatives from France and ICFAI, attended the event.
Addressing the gathering, the speakers highlighted the strengthening academic ties between India and France, the expanding range of English-taught programmes offered by French universities, and the growing importance of student mobility and research collaboration in higher education.
The programme attracted around 400 students, who interacted directly with university representatives to learn about study opportunities in France, admissions procedures, scholarships, and student life. The interactions provided students with first-hand insights into academic pathways and campus experiences abroad.
