ICFAI Law School hosts two-day international conference

Hyderabad: The Centre of Excellence for Environment and Forest Laws, ICFAI Law School, organised a two-day international conference on ‘Navigating the Future of Environmental Governance: Innovations in Law, Policy and Finance’, here on Friday.
Addressing the event, TGCHE Chairman Prof V BalakistaReddy highlighted the critical role of legal frameworks, policy innovation, and sustainable finance in shaping a resilient environmental future.
Prof Reddy stressed the importance of global cooperation, grassroots engagement, and the integration of environmental considerations into economic decision-making.
The TGCHE Chairman also reflected on the importance of leveraging technology, strengthening international treaties, and mobilising financial resources to achieve climate goals.
Former Principal Chief Conservator of Forests P Raghuveer highlighted that institutions, environmental enthusiasts and people involved must have a vision and mission to propel the environmental protection.
ICFAI Law School director Prof P Ravisekhara Raju, ICFAI Law School dean Prof Y Pratap Reddy, ICFAI Law School’s Prof V Hemalatha Devi, and assistant professor M Geetha Priyadarsani, among others, also spoke.
