IG appreciates Peddapalli cops for successfully implementing lockdown
The IG, accompanied by Ramagundam Police Commissioner V Satyanarayana, visited various parts of Peddapalli town including the main road as well as vegetable market area to monitor the situation
Peddapalli: Inspector General of Police, North Zone, Y Nagireddy on Friday inspected the implementation of lockdown in Peddapalli town.
The IG, accompanied by Ramagundam Police Commissioner V Satyanarayana, visited various parts of Peddapalli town including the main road as well as vegetable market area to monitor the situation. Stating that a curfew kind of situation prevailed in the town, he appreciated the local police for successfully implementing the lockdown in the town.
Nagireddy appealed to the people not to come onto the roads after 10 am and warned that cases would be registered if anybody ventured out, violating the lockdown norms. Vehicles would also be seized, he said.
Peddapalli DCP P Ravinder, ACP Sarangapani, CIs Pradeep Kumar, Anil, Indrasena Reddy, SI Rajesh and other police personnel were present.
