Hyderabad: If you are a technical professional with one year of experience and want to try your hands in academic research and innovation, then IIIT-H is the place to be.
The International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) – Hyderabad has announced a year-long research translation fellowship for working professionals. Through this programme, professionals can work on creating products from emerging research groups and professors along with being provided with a stipend.
The fellows will work with the research translation centres including the Applied AI centre/INAI, Product Labs, Smart Cities Living Lab and Raj Reddy Centre for Technology and Society in the institute.
Selected working professionals will work with professors in areas like artificial intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), Natural Language Processing (NLP), computer vision, robotics and other emerging technologies, the institute said in a release.
It also mentioned that products and solutions built may be in domains like healthcare monitoring, medical diagnostic algorithms, genomics, autonomous vehicles, safety solutions, education tech AI, speech and language solutions for business, smart city device and AI analytics, social sector solutions in education and healthcare.
Professor C V Jawahar, dean, research and development, IIIT-H said, “This is an opportunity for aspirants with over one year experience in technical roles and smart developers excited about research.”
