IIMC College NSS Volunteers Distribute Fruits at MNJ Cancer Hospital on World Cancer Day, Khairatabad,
Marking World Cancer Day, NSS Units 1 and 2 and the Social Responsibility Committee of IIMC College distributed fruits to 300 cancer patients at MNJ Cancer Hospital, with the principal stressing awareness, prevention and compassion.

Hyderabad: On the occasion of World Cancer Day, under the aegis of Units 1 & 2 of the NSS unit and the Social Responsibility Committee of IIMC College in Lakdikapool, fruits were distributed to 300 cancer patients undergoing treatment at MNJ Cancer Hospital in Red Hills on Saturday.
College principal Raghuvier urged everyone to remain vigilant against cancer, emphasizing the need to create awareness about tobacco, tobacco products, food items containing harmful chemicals, and carcinogenic substances.
He also called on the government to strictly ban carcinogenic products. He advised everyone to commit to cancer prevention and to show love and compassion towards cancer-affected individuals.
The program was attended by I. Ramakrishna, NSS Program Officer Unit 2; M. Satyanarayana, Program Officer Unit 1; Social Responsibility Committee Convener Vijayaanand; Co-Convener Deepak, Vijay; NSS volunteers from the college; and Social Responsibility Committee members.
