IIT Madras faculty launches podcast to demystify careers in science and technology
Titled ‘Prof. Mahesh Podcast. Future. Simplyfied’, the series is designed to guide students and parents by exploring career opportunities across various disciplines and making career choices in science, engineering, and technology easier to understand.
Hyderabad: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras Prof. Mahesh Panchagnula has launched a first-of-its-kind podcast series focused on career options for students in science and technology. A new episode will be aired every week.
Titled ‘Prof. Mahesh Podcast. Future. Simplyfied’, the podcast aims to inform students and parents of the prospects in various disciplines and aims to simplify career choices in science, engineering, and technology fields.
The first episode launched on Thursday featured guests and topics – Prof. Madhura Swaminathan (ISI Bangalore): ‘Emerging Trends in Agricultural Intelligence-How Does Food Get on Our Table?, Prof. Balaraman Ravindran (IIT Madras): ‘Emerging Trends in AI and Data Science’. The podcast will be available on Spotify, YouTube, Apple Podcasts, and all major platforms.
IIT Madras Director Prof. V Kamakoti said the Institute wants to create pathways for bright students to be able to go into any discipline and make a difference to society by following their passion.
