Hyderabad: It’s not always that actors get to see some funny comments from fans; only when something bizarre and unusual happens, does one witness the witty side of their followers. So, check out how fans reacted when Ileana D’Cruz promoted a whisky brand on her Instagram handle and said, “Drink responsibly”.
While the majority of the users left an appreciated note with love emojis, only a few comments stand apart. A user wrote, “The whisky stands nowhere in front of your intoxicated eyes.” The ‘Pokiri’ must have been bowled by the comment.
A funny comment from the user @Sarcasmmyway reads, “Kha bhi liya kro janu mera wait mat karna (Don’t wait for me sweetheart, also eat something),” while another follower said, “Yeah it seems to be damn smooth”.
“hahaha we u that u can afford a wisky bottle plz dont showw offfff(sic)” wrote yet another user.
While some showered love on her with their comments — “Looking so Gorgeous and stylish in white outfit with Beautiful smile, sweet face and beautiful look as always ❤(sic)”, “Wah wah wah aag laga di aag laga di aag lga di,” “The whisky stands nowhere in front of your intoxicated eyes”, some showed concern for her well-being. “U r really drinking. Bad habit. Its harmful for lungs, kidney and liver.(sic),” said a user.
“Brilliant choice” and “Thodi hume bhi pilado yar” were some other comments.
Illeana had a great run at the Telugu box office a decade ago. After making her debut with ‘Devadasu’ in Telugu opposite Ram Pothineni, she appeared in a few box office hits like ‘Julayi’, ‘Saleem’, ‘Kick’, ‘Jalsa’, ‘Aata’, ‘Munna’, ‘Rakhi’ and the last outing was ‘Amar Akbar Anthony’ directed by Sreenu Vaitla.
In Bollywood, the actor currently has ‘Tera Kya Hoga Lovely’ and another untitled film readying for released.
