IMD forecasts heavy rain and thunderstorms across Telangana
Minimum temperatures dipped across Telangana, with Mahabubnagar recording the state's lowest at 22.2 degrees Celsius. The IMD continued its seven-day yellow warning, forecasting heavy rainfall, thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds across several districts, including Hyderabad, over the coming days

Hyderabad: Minimum temperatures continued to fall across Telangana, with Mahabubnagar district recording the state’s lowest temperature of 22.2 degrees Celsius on Sunday.
As per the Telangana Development Planning Society’s weather data, 28 out of 33 districts reported minimum temperatures of less than 25 degrees Celsius.
Among areas under the GHMC limits, Serilingampally recorded the lowest minimum temperature of 24.7 degrees Celsius, followed by 24.9 degrees Celsius at Rajendranagar, Moosapet and Yousufguda.
At 38.6 degrees Celsius, Kamanpur in Peddapalli district recorded the state’s highest maximum temperature. Twenty-two districts registered maximum temperatures of more than 35 degrees Celsius. In Hyderabad, the highest maximum temperature of 35.2 degrees Celsius was recorded in Begumpet.
Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) continued its seven-day yellow warning for several districts. As per the forecast, heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Mulugu and Bhadradri Kothagudem districts.
Thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and gusty winds of 30-40 kmph are very likely to occur at isolated places across all districts. The city recorded a maximum temperature of 31.2 degrees Celsius, while the minimum temperature was 26.2 degrees Celsius.
Generally, a cloudy sky will prevail on Monday, with light to moderate rain or thundershowers accompanied by gusty winds (30-40 kmph) very likely to occur in the city towards evening or night. The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to be around 34 degrees Celsius and 26 degrees Celsius, respectively.
