IMD-Hyderabad extends cold wave warning to 13 Telangana districts
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad has extended the cold wave warning to 13 districts in Telangana, with minimum temperatures expected to fall by 3 to 4 degree Celsius. Extreme cold wave conditions are likely to continue till Sunday, December 14.

Hyderabad: The ongoing extreme cold wave conditions in Telangana are expected to continue till Sunday, December 14, with Indian Meteorological Department (IMD)-Hyderabad on Friday evening extending the warning to a total of 13 districts.
The districts where minimum temperatures are expected to fall by at least 3 degree celsius and 4 degree celsius are Adilabad, KomuramBheem Asifabad, Mancherial, Nirmal, Warangal, Hanumakonda, Jangaon, Siddipet, Rangareddy, Sangareddy, Medak, and Kamaredy districts.
Earlier, on Thursday evening, the IMD-Hyderabad had issued a severe cold wave warning to 12 districts. However, by Friday, one more district i.e. Rangareddy was added, taking the overall number of districts to 15. The minimum temperatures in the rest of the districts of Telangana will continue to range between 11 degree Celsius and 15 degree Celsius.
