According to sources, the staff along with the employees of a private airliner had colluded with agents and facilitated them in sending people illegally with fake visas to Gulf countries after promising them jobs. The questioning of 44 women, who were caught by the Immigration authorities while trying to fly to Kuwait with fake visas on Tuesday, has revealed more details on the fraud.
Based on the information collected, the police kept surveillance on the Immigration staff and airlines staff and nabbed them. It is learnt that fake visas and other documents were seized from them. The investigation officials are trying to nab the agents and also the kingpin of the fraud, reportedly operating from Mumbai, Andhra Pradesh and other places.
