Inaugural of Covid Isolation Centre at Police Training Centre, Petlaburj
The services at the centre which would follow all Covid protocols and each patient demarcated with separations, social distancing.

Hyderabad: A Covid Isolation Centre for police personnel who tested Covid-19 positive but were asymptomatic was opened by the Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) in association with Hyderabad City Police. As part of Project Sahaya, the isolation centre has been set up at Police Training Centre, Petlaburj.
The police officers who test positive but face difficulties in staying in isolation can opt for the facility which was inaugurated on Saturday by Hyderabad Police Commissioner, Anjani Kumar, Addl. Commissioner of Police, Crimes and SIT, Shikha Goel, Addl CP Traffic, Anil Kumar, Addl CP, Law and Order, D.S Chauhan, and other senior officers of Hyderabad City Police. Dr P. Prasanthi, secretary-general, Bharani Aroll, advisor of HCSC also were present.

The services at the centre which would follow all Covid protocols and each patient demarcated with separations, social distancing. All the patients would be served three times packed food in disposable packs and their health assessed from time to time. This isolation facility will ensure that the police officers suffering from Covid with mild symptoms are monitored 24×7, a press release said.
Covid Support
A dedicated Covid support services centre for police officers was also inaugurated by Anjani Kumar at the Commissionerate on Saturday.
This centre will act as single point of contact for police personnel affected by Covid-19 and provide various services including access to tele-consultation with doctors, transport services, emergency bed provisioning and other services. The Commissioner said officer who test positive will get a special Covid Care Kit comprising essential basic medicines as well as dry fruits etc.
