Sangareddy: Some unidentified women in a corporate junior college hostel created panic by roaming in the hostel during the night wearing masks and attacking girl inmates who were sleeping. The girls’ hostel of the corporate college, which offers coaching for NEET located under Ameenpur police station limits, has repeatedly witnessed such incidents in the recent past.
As the panicked inmates informed their parents, they rushed to the college worried over the well-being of their wards. Surprisingly, though one girl sustained a fracture on her leg in the attack, neither the parents nor the college management have filed any complaint with the police so far.
However, the news came to light as a huge number of parents arrived at the college campus to take their wards home on Monday before the management declared holidays. The students complained that the masked girls were writing the names of certain students on the walls whom they were going to target during that night. The students said they never missed the target. Despite many students being targeted thus, the students alleged that the management had failed to unravel the mystery behind the attacks.
While the management saw it as an attempt of some students to force the management to declare Dasara holidays early, parents saw it as a failure of management to control the situation. A student said they even feared visiting toilets alone during the night fearing the attacks. She said a masked girl attacked one of the inmates when she came out of the bathroom a couple of days ago.
