Income tax raids on Pista House, Shah Ghouse, Mehfil in Hyderabad
Income Tax officials raided Pista House, Shah Ghouse, and Mehfi outlets and the residences of their key personnel in Hyderabad. The action targets alleged financial irregularities and unaccounted revenue in the prominent regional food chains.

Hyderabad: Income Tax officials conducted large scale raids on the premises of popular hotels Pista House, Shah Ghouse and Mehfil in the city on Tuesday.
As per reports, searches were also carried out simultaneously at the residences of the Chairman, Directors and key management personnel of these hotel groups.
According to initial information, about 50 I-T teams took up inspections at 15 locations across the city. The agencies are reportedly probing financial irregularities and unaccounted revenue, as these food chains collectively handle hundreds of crores in annual business.
All the three major brands operate multiple outlets not only in Hyderabad, but also in Dubai and other Indian cities, making them among the most prominent players in the regional food business sector.
