Indian Army extends recruitment deadline to April 10

The Indian Army has extended the registration deadline for Recruitment Year 2027 from April 1 to April 10, 2026. The move aims to allow more candidates to apply, with officials urging applicants to complete the process well before the deadline.

Hyderabad: The Indian Army recruitment notification for Recruitment Year 2027, issued on February 13, 2026, with the last date of registration till April 1, 2026, has been extended till April 10, 2026, to provide an extended opportunity to aspiring candidates.

This extension aims to facilitate maximum participation from eligible youth who may not have been able to complete their registration within the stipulated time. All candidates are advised to utilise this additional window and complete their application process well before the revised deadline through www.joinindianarmy.nic.in.


Applicants are advised to check their eligibility on the official website regarding age, educational qualification and physical standards.

The Indian Army remains committed to providing equal opportunities to the nation’s youth to serve in the Armed Forces through a fully automated, fair and transparent procedure.

Candidates are strongly cautioned against touts or fraudulent agents claiming to influence selection. Selection is strictly based on merit, and no intermediary has any role in the recruitment process, a press release from the Indian Army said.
