Indian Army Officer Recruitment 2021: How to apply, eligibility criteria and more

The Territorial Army is inviting online applications for the recruitment of officers (non-departmental). Interested and eligible male and female candidates can apply online by visiting the official website of Indian Army,

The application process started on July 20, and will conclude on August 19. The candidates will be called for a written exam which is scheduled to be held on September 26. The exam will be conducted across India. The appointed candidates will get paid between Rs 56, 100 and Rs 1, 77,500.

Educational qualification: Graduate from any recognised university all over India and gainfully employed young citizens

Age limit: 18 to 42 years

Step 1: Visit the official website of the Territorial Army

Step 2: Click on the application link for Territorial Army officer recruitment available on the home page

Step 3: Register yourself by entering your details

Step 4: Proceed to fill in the application form

Step 5: Upload the scanned copy of the photograph and signature

Step 6: Pay the application fee of Rs 200 and download a copy of the confirmation page

Selection process

The selected candidates will be appointed at the rank of lieutenant. The recruitment will be done through a written exam. The test is scheduled to be conducted on September 26 in offline mode.

Exam pattern

The total time duration of the exam is 4 hours. There will be negative marking for wrong answers. There will be 200 questions of 200 marks on Reasoning, Elementary Mathematics, General Knowledge and English. Each section has 50 questions of 50 marks.

Qualifying Marks – Minimum 40 per cent marks in each part of the paper separately and overall average of 50 per cent.
