Indian Overseas Bank, Alwal celebrates 89th Foundation Day

Branch Manager, IOB, Alwal, Megavath Tharachand announced that the branch has crossed Rs 275 crore of business with the help of customers' support

Hyderabad: The Indian Overseas Bank (IOB), Alwal branch on Monday celebrated the 89th Foundation Day of IOB, which was established by Founder Chairman, MCTM Chidambaram Chettiyar on February 10, 1937.

On the occasion, Branch Manager, IOB, Alwal, Megavath Tharachand announced that the branch, which was established in 1977, has crossed Rs 275 crore of business with the help of customers’ support. The IOB, Alwal branch is aiming to cross business of Rs 300 crore by the end of financial year 2024-25.

During Foundation Day celebrations, the senior IOB Alwal branch official explained about various products offered by the bank, including Fixed Deposits for 444 days with interest of up to 8.05 percent and PBSBY scheme of accidental insurance of Rs 2 lakh for just Rs 20.

Senior IOB Alwal branch officials including K Naveen Kumar (Senior Manager), Assistant Managers, K Sudheer, P Raghavender Reddy, Anirudh Jena, senior citizen bank customers and others were present.
