Indian para-cyclists win medals in Thailand Para Cycling Cup

A 10-member Indian para-cycling team trained by Aditya Mehta Foundation won two silver and nine bronze medals at the Thailand Para Cycling Cup in Korat. Young cyclists Vishva and Lisha led the medal tally with multiple podium finishes

Hyderabad: A 10-member Indian para-cycling team, trained by the Aditya Mehta Foundation (AMF) of Hyderabad, put up a fine show by winning two silver and nine bronze medals in the Thailand Para Cycling Cup in Korat.

Track Events

Individual Time Trial (1 km): Vishva (16, Gujarat) – Bronze; Lisha (15, Assam) – Silver

Individual Pursuit: Vishva – Bronze; Lisha – Bronze

200m Sprint: Vishva – Bronze; Lisha – Silver; Pavan Kumar (22, Andhra Pradesh) – Bronze

Road Events

Individual Time Trial: Vishva – Bronze; Lisha – Bronze; Yogesh (Maharashtra) – Bronze; Prashant (Telugu athlete from Maharashtra) – Bronze
