Indian Super League finalists meet next-gen players
Mohun Bagan Super Giant team members interact with U15 champions at their training session in Kolkata
HYDERABAD: As excitement builds for the Indian Super League final, Mohun Bagan Super Giant, the ISL Shield winners and one of this season’s finalists, took time out to inspire the next generation of footballers in Kolkata on Thursday.
The team met with the U15 champions of the Reliance Foundation Youth Sports 2024-25 Kolkata Leg – SP One Foundation (U15 Girls) and Mohun Bagan Super Giant (U15 Boys) – in a special interaction at their training session on Thursday.
The young champions were thrilled to meet their footballing idols up close as they walked onto the training ground, cheered them on during practice, and wished them luck ahead of the high-stakes final against Bengaluru FC at the iconic Salt Lake Stadium.
The experience got even more memorable as the children had a chance to pose with the coveted ISL Trophy on the pitch – bringing them one step closer to their ISL dream.
