Hyderabad: The second edition of Indo Data Week for Sustainable Development Goals will be held virtually from November 16 to 22. It will kick start with a NLP BootCamp on Monday. Dr Ashton Sharabiani, a data science manager in the forensic practice at Deloitte and Alireza Rezazadeh, a PhD student at the University of Minnesota will facilitate the BootCAmp. This session will focus on Natural Language Processing and will equip participants with machine learning techniques to build NLP Systems. On November 17, a StartUp Masterclass will be held.
Delegates from World Bank, Pulse Lab Jakarta, Emerging Technologies Wing — Government of Telangana, National Health Authority — Government of India, startups and innovation hubs, Impact Scientist, Knowledge Exchange Innovation Center Thailand, FluxGen Technologies, IroIro, and Khetee will participate in the conference which will focus on poverty, inequality, environmental change, sustainability, peace and justice and how data science and artificial intelligence can help in tackling these.
IDW will conclude with a three-day Hackathon for Good where teams from around the world will develop solutions for Climate Resilient Food Security in India. Access to data and mentorship will be provided to participants and the winning team will get a cash prize of Rs 1 lakh.
