Indus International School bags silver in ISSO Athletics National Meet

Hyderabad: Indus International School Hyderabad bagged a silver in the overall championship in the seventh ISSO Athletics National Meet at Gachibowli Stadium here, winning 41 medals, including seven gold, 15 silver and 19 bronze.
Some of the impressive performances came from Vihaan Chowdavaram, who was adjudged ‘best athlete’ in the boys under-14 category, winning three gold in the 100m, 200m, and 80m and a silver in the 4x400m relay.
The other medallists included Shiriyal Tanneeru (gold in javelin in boys under-17), G Nikhil Nanda (gold in boys under-19 hammer throw), Shrika Reddy Myla (gold in 3000m for girls under-19) and Abhinav Nandikonda (gold in 5 km for boys under-19).
Many athletes from the Indus School had also earned selection for the SGFI Nationals, including Vihaan Chowdavaram, Suhaas Varma, Parth M, Shiriyal Tanneeru, Tanvi Reddy Lokireddy, Gogineni Nikhil Nanda, Abhinav Nandhikonda, and Shrika Reddy Myla.
