Industrialists express satisfaction over power supply since Telangana formation

Hyderabad: Several industrialists expressed satisfaction over uninterrupted power supplied to the industrial sector since the formation of Telangana State in 2014.
At a meeting with Special Chief Secretary for Energy Sunil Sharma, Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited (TSSPDCL) Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) G Raghuma Reddy and others on the issues related to the department on Ease of Doing Business (EoDB), the industrialists thanked the State government for supplying quality and uninterrupted power to the industrial sector.
When Sharma sought suggestions and problems being faced by the industrial sector, the industrialists said they were not facing any problem with respect to the power supply. They gave a few suggestions to the officials for rendering quality services.
In response, Sharma asked the officials concerned to look into the issues raised by the industrialists and take necessary steps to implement them. He also advised the industrialists to bring it to his notice if anyone is facing problems pertaining to power supply and related issues.
In his power-point presentation, Raghuma Reddy explained in detail to the industrialists on various online services provided by the TSSPDCL. Over 70 industrialists and senior officials from the energy department took part in the meeting.
