Hyderabad: Industries minister D Sridhar Babu has called upon industries to train the engineering graduates to make them ‘industry-ready’. Industries should take up this activity as its responsibility, he said.

Speaking after participating in the celebrations on the eve of completion of a decade of operations of PSR Techhub on Tuesday, the minister appreciated the company which became a Rs 120 crore industry overcoming all the difficulties in the last one decade.

He recalled that the lockdown period during Corona outbreak had adversely affected several industries. He said it was not an easy task for a company to face the challenges like the emergence of artificial intelligence. He said his government was supporting efforts to improve the skill sets of engineers. The government will start an AI Hub in next two months and begin re-skilling programmes.

Company director P Namyutha said PSR Techhub had office in all major cities in the country and it is planning to expand its activities to other countries also by increasing the number of employees to 1000 shortly. She assured to implement the suggestion of the minister for training engineers.
