Inebriated man slips into open well in Medak, rescued

A 59-year-old man who fell into an abandoned well in Chinna Shankarampet on Sunday night was rescued by fire department personnel on Monday morning after regaining consciousness and calling for help. He was shifted to a hospital and remains in critical condition

Medak: An inebriated man slipped and fell into an open abandoned well in Chinna Shankarampet on Sunday night. Bhaskar Manda (59), who remained unconscious throughout the night, regained consciousness on Monday morning and cried for help.

Bhaskar, a native of Andhra Pradesh, is currently working in a local industry. Fire department personnel rescued him and shifted him to a hospital. His condition is said to be critical.
