Hyderabad: Interior design automation platform Prolance announced the launch of its operations in Hyderabad with local fabrication and installation support for citywide residential interior design or home improvement projects. More than 100 city-based interior designers attended the Prolance launch event to familiarize themselves with the Prolance platform and marketplace. The company said that it will also serve homeowners in other cities of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh from its central hub in Hyderabad.
Prolance is a cloud-based automation platform that promises to cut interior design costs by more than 20 per cent, and delivery timelines by 40 per cent. It is a one-stop-shop to buy all materials required for executing interior projects. The platform also includes a ready marketplace for designers or contractors to buy materials including finished shutters, plywood, hardware and appliances.
Prolance is already present in Chennai in addition to Bengaluru, its headquarters. The launch in Hyderabad is part of the company’s regional expansion strategy. Prolance co-founder and director Vivek MP said, “Hyderabad is a city of innovations and houses the biggest IT Hubs in the country. It attracts population from across the country and as a result, Hyderabad is witnessing a boom in residential as well as for workplace consumption.”
In addition to complete project automation, the platform targets two major pain points in the interior design industry: manufacturing and procurement of raw materials or finished components. The company counts Godrej Interio, Spacewood, Landmark and SquareYards as its major enterprise clients. Prolance also counts more than 500 interior design firms as its clients.
