Intermediate exams: TGBIE orders wall clocks, dual desks in centres
TGBIE has directed officials to ensure improved facilities and strict security measures at examination centres ahead of the intermediate public exams starting February 25. Secretary S. Krishna Aditya instructed that every hall must have a wall clock and dual desks for students.

Hyderabad: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) directed its officials to ensure that a wall clock is installed in every hall of the intermediate public examination centre.
In a Thursday review meeting on the intermediate public exams, which are commencing February 25, TG BIE Secretary S Krishna Aditya instructed officials concerned to provide dual desks in all centres.
“All students should be provided a dual desk to write the exam inside the hall. They should not be made to sit on the floor,” he said.
He also instructed officials to ensure that halls are equipped with fans and have proper ventilation, functional toilets and drinking water facility.
Further, instructions have been passed to keep centres under CCTV surveillance and deploy experienced staff for examination duties
“Accurate verification of examination staff details should be conducted to avoid errors. District-wise and centre-wise inspection of question paper security arrangements and staff details must be carried out,” Aditya told the officers.
