International human trafficking racket busted in Hyderabad

Hyderabad Police nab 15 people including six Bangladesh nationals

Hyderabad: The Hyderabad Police busted an international human trafficking racket in the city and caught 15 people including six Bangladesh nationals.

According to the police, a group of Bangladesh nationals had crossed over into the country illegally and on pretext of arranging jobs for unemployed men and women collected between Rs 15,000 and Rs 20,000 from them.

After bringing them to the city, the girls were forced into prostitution. The police raided two houses at Chaderghat and Khairatabad. Two minor girls were rescued during a raid at Chaderghat and a customer was also arrested.

The police maintained that the Bangladesh nationals were first accommodated at some places in West Bengal and later sent to Hyderabad and Bengaluru.
