The arrested person was Debjyoti Das (27), a resident of Fathulaguda in Nagole and a native of Khanapur in West Bengal. He allegedly maintained an online dating app, through where he collected money from customers.

The MD of the agency, Mohd Naseer, and his daughter Sumaiaya Fathima (23), who is also the owner of the travel agency and one Sayed were absconding.

Two women from West Bengal and Maharashtra were rescued. The organisers were fixing deals online and collecting money through e-wallets, police said.

Officials said the parents of these children were induced saying their children would be given good jobs with a decent salary, but forced them into child labour in bangle units

The arrested persons were U. Yadaiah and his wife U. Chittamma and Rahul, all three organisers, while one customer, Bhaskar, too was arrested.
