International Internet Day celebrated at PMS Bowenpally
Students of class -X conducted a virtual assembly highlighting the role of the internet in improving the quality of life of people
Hyderabad: Pallavi Model School, Bowenpally celebrated International Internet Day on October 29, 2020. International Internet Day is celebrated worldwide since 2005 to commemorate a momentous day in the history of telecommunications and technology.
Students of class -X conducted a virtual assembly highlighting the role of the internet in improving the quality of life of people. Speakers at the event said the internet is the most important source through which an individual can access information with the click of a button; remain in touch with people beyond boundaries. It is a social platform and a business network. With almost 3million users it is emerging as one of the most important tools of communication. All these advantages come to us but we have to be a little cautious in its usage, students noted.
During the assembly, students highlighted the safety rules to be followed while using the internet. The assembly concluded with the news report.
