Internet facility to every village in Telangana: Sridhar Babu

Karimnagar: IT and Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu informed to provide internet facility to each and every village in the state.

It is going to be implemented on a pilot basis in three villages such as Sangupeta of Sangareddy district, Maddur of Narayanpet district and Adavisrirampur of Peddapalli district, he said while speaking to reporters here on Tuesday.

Besides internet, cable TV services, computer connectivity, 20 MBPS unlimited data to mobile phones would also be provided through optic fiber cable. CCTV cameras would also be setup in villagers by utilizing 360 degrees Artificial Intelligence (AI).

Informing that fiber cable has already been provided to 8000 villages, he said that it has to be extended to another 3,000 villages.
