Hyderabad: Army Public School (APS), Bolarum, conducted its investiture ceremony for the newly elected student council members on Thursday in a virtual platform. The ceremony commenced by invoking the blessings of the lord almighty which was followed by a welcome address by school Principal Smitha Govind.
The Principal said that APS has always aligned its curriculum with the values of life, focused on inculcating a repertoire of skills in students and school has never compromised in providing quality education to students. Newly elected school captains Mehar Singh and Pradyumna Subhir spoke about the Council’s aspirations and the qualities of a leader. The pipping ceremony was held where all the leaders were pinned the epaulettes by their parents.
The school captains spoke about how they would discharge their duties and make their school proud. The newly elected members went on to take the oath, promising to uphold the responsibilities that come with their posts to the best of their abilities.
A special video presentation was organised in which an ex-student delivered a motivational speech and stressed on the importance of dedication, teamwork, and discipline which go into the making of true leaders.
