IPS Officer Vijaya Kumar has a miraculous escape

Siddipet's outgoing Commissioner SM Vijay Kumar narrowly escaped injury after his car swerved to avoid goats, hitting a boy

Siddipet: The outgoing Commissioner of Police of Siddipet SM Vijay Kumar had miraculous escape as his driver drove his car off the road, in a bid to avoid hitting goats crossing the road on Rajiv Rahadhari at Rimmanagunda on Friday.

The car hit a boy who sustained minor injuries in the incident. The boy was herding his goats across the road. However, the driver responded quickly and drove the car off the road and hit a drinking water pipe line’s inspection chamber.

The IPS officer, who was transferred and appointed as joint commissioner special branch, was on his way to Hyderabad from Siddipet. Vijay Kumar got off the vehicle and comforted the boy. The IPS officer asked the local police to rush the boy to hospital and ensure he was provided proper treatment.
