Is Amitabh the reason for Genelia and Riteish’s wedding?

Hyderabad: Genelia and Riteish Deshmukh are one of the most adored couple in the B’town. Well, in an episode of KBC Shaandaar Shukravaar where the romantic duo came as guests, something very interesting was revealed. 

While having a fan moment with Amitabh Bachchan, Genelia discloses about how he could be a reason for her alliance with Riteish. She recalls her first ever appearance in the front of the camera which was an ad shoot for a pen with Big B.

In the ad shoot, Genelia is seen as a fan, comes forward for ‘The Amitabh Bachchan’s’ autograph. 

“There was one closeup of mine in the advertisement. But the director had said let’s remove it, who wants her closeup? But Amitabh sir insisted on keeping the closeup and that clip is still there in the ad,” Genelia shares during the show. 

Chipping in, Riteish says that closeup is what gave her a movie offer and brought them close leading to becoming one of the most romantic couple of the industry. 

Amitabh is seen to surprised about the connection and says that “When director asked for my close up I thought, I’m a man who’d see me? But she is a beautiful young lady and so insisted on her closeup instead”.
