ISKCON Abids celebrates golden jubilee; Governor hails five decades of service
ISKCON’s Sri Sri Radha Madanmohan Mandir at Abids in Hyderabad celebrated its Golden Jubilee. Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla praised the temple’s five decades of devotion, service and compassion and recalled Srila Prabhupada’s contribution to spreading Krishna consciousness worldwide.

Hyderabad: The five-decade journey of Sri Sri Radha Madanmohan Mandir at Abids, Hyderabad, has been a spiritual journey rooted in devotion, service, compassion and human welfare, said Governor Shiv Pratap Shukla here on Tuesday.
The Governor, along with his wife, Janaki Shukla, participated in the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Sri Sri Radha Madanmohan Mandir and congratulated the saints, devotees, volunteers and well-wishers of ISKCON Abids on behalf of the people of Telangana.
He recalled the contribution of Srila AC Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, who founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) in 1966, and said the movement had carried the message of Krishna consciousness and spiritual awareness across the world.
Spiritual leader Lokanath Swami, Shri Varad Krishna Das, Shri Mahaman Das, Shri Sitaram Das, Smt Revati Raman Das, revered saints, ISKCON organisers, and devotees participated in the Golden Jubilee celebrations.
