Karimnagar: BC Welfare and Civil Supplies Minister Gangula Kamalakar exuded confidence that IT companies would come forward to invest money in the towns like Huzurabad if roads and other basic facilities were available. Unfortunately, roads in Huzurabad town were neglected by the previous MLA Eatala Rajender. Out of 350 roads, Rajender failed to develop at least 3 roads during his tenure. Despite requests from public on a number of occasions, the BJP candidate was least bothered about roads.
Minister campaigned in Bornapalli and 14th ward of Huzurabad municipality on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, Kamalakar questioned why Rajender failed to develop the town on par with Karimnagar, Sircilla and Siddipet. IT companies were coming forward to invest in Karimnagar, Sircilla and Siddipet, he informed and added that Chief Minister K Chandhrashekhar Rao was ready to invest money to develop the town.
Informing that the road works taken up with Rs 50 crore were under progress, he said construction of two bridges worth Rs 1.70 crore were also taken up. To uphold the self-respect of various communities, caste bhavans and Peddamma temples have also been constructed.
It was not because of the election and the government has taken up all these works as former MLA failed to do so. To continue the developmental activities further, people should elect TRS candidate Gellu Srinivas Yadav, he appealed.
