Reddy also criticized the Congress government’s for its handling of agriculture sector, stating that it was completely neglected. He contrasted the BRS’s governance, which he said elevated Nalgonda to the top during BRS regime through regular reviews on supply of fertilizers and seeds. The Congress government had failed to curb the influx of fake seeds. He pointed out that even Congress MLAs have expressed frustration in review meetings, questioning the government’s approach. He said only ministers speak in the reviews while elected representatives were sidelined.
Taking aim at Minister Uttam Kumar Reddy, Jagadish Reddy accused him of lacking knowledge about irrigation and civil supplies, alleging that both Krishna and Godavari river waters were being handed over to Andhra Pradesh. He claimed the Congress government is more focused on criticizing BRS chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao than safeguarding Telangana’s interests.
