Jagtial: Body of missing doctor found in SRSP flood flow canal

Police, who launched a search operation for the missing doctor, found his body some distance away from the spot in the morning.

Jagtial: The body of a private doctor Pakati Uday Kumar Reddy (29), who went missing in SRSP flood flow canal near Vittampeta of Metpalli mandal on Sunday, was found on Monday morning.

Police, who launched a search operation for the missing doctor, found his body some distance away from the spot in the morning. A native of Hanamkonda, Uday Kumar is working in Yashoda hospital in Metpalli.


He along with two other doctors Dr Prashanth Kumar ad Dr Ashok Reddy, a hospital owner Atmakuri Raju and Another person Lingala Likith Reddy went to Metla Chittapur of Metpalli mandal to have a party.

While returning, they stopped at the spot. Both Uday Kumar Reddy and Prasanth Kumar got down into the canal to have a bath. While trying to cross the canal, both the doctors got stuck in the middle as there was heavy water flow and were washed away.

Though Prasanth Kumar managed to reach the bank after some distance, Uday Kumar went missing.

Police, who launched a search operation for the missing doctor, found his body some distance away from the spot in the morning.
