Jagtial man drowns as car falls into agricultural well; two friends rescued
A 28-year-old man died after the car he was driving plunged into an agricultural well near Thatipalli in Jagtial district. Two of his friends survived after escaping and were rescued by police and fire personnel. An investigation is underway.

Jagtial: A youngster Dasari Arun (28) drowned as a car plunged into an agricultural well near Thatipalli of Jagtial rural mandal on Sunday night.
According to police, Arun from Mothe, Ashwin and Boga Nivesh from Jagtial town went to Morapalli to attend a function of their friend.
While returning, they met with an accident as the car they were traveling in plunged into a roadside agricultural well on Morapalli-Thatipalli road.
Arun, who was driving the vehicle at the time of incident, got stuck as he wore a seat belt. Ashwin and Nivesh managed to get out of the car and raised the alarm for help.
Passersby rushed to the spot and alerted the police. Police and fire department staff rushed to the spot and rescued Ashwin and Nivesh with the help of ropes.
The body of Arun was found in the vehicle when the car was retrieved from the well. Police began investigation by registering the case.
