Jangaon: All set for Brahmotsavams at Chilpur temple

Jangaon: The authorities of the Bugulu Venkateswara Swamy temple at Chilpur in the district are making arrangements for the smooth conduct of the Brahmotsavams.
Speaking to media persons here on Wednesday, Temple Executive Officer (EO) Lakshmi Prasanna said that the Brahmotsavams would be held from March 19 to 27. “The celestial wedding of the Lord Venkateshwara Swamy will be held on March 25 as a part of the Brahmotsavams,” she said adding that the Brahmotsavams would conclude with the ‘Chakrasnanam’ on March 27.
“We are making all arrangements for the devotees who come to the temple from different parts of the State, and also from neighboring States,” she added. ‘Annadanam’ (free meal) will be arranged for the devotees who come here on the day of ‘Kalyanam’. The devotes have to follow the Covid-19 protocol and maintain physical distancing and wear masks in view of the rise in Covid cases.
Bugulu Sri Venkateswara Swamy Temple, which is located 120 km from Hyderabad, 30 km from Warangal city, can be reached from China Pendial temple arch, which is on Hyderabad-Warangal national highway. The temple is situated on a hillock.
